Delivery & Handling

In order to deliver you must order a $60 minimum.

For Puerto Rico: Orders received Saturday, Sunday and Monday by 4PM will be available for pick up / delivered on Tuesday. Deliveries can be expected between 12:00PM to 6:00PM and will incur a delivery charge. For Pick Ups, no minimum is required.

For St. Thomas: Orders received Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday will be available for pick up / delivered on Tuesday. Orders received Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be available for pick up / delivered on Friday. There will be shipping cost incur, amount will be estimated with total weight of order.

Standard and minimum of two fresh fish portions per tray.

Can't make it to our store? Don't worry – Alan’s Market can come to you!

Alan’s Market offers a Standard Next Day Pick Up/Delivery service with a fee and $60 minimum (fee’s and minimum only apply to deliveries). To be eligible for Next Business Day Delivery, order must be placed by 4:00PM. Orders placed after 4:00PM will be delivered on the following day.

Delivery fee in the Metropolitan area is $10.

Additional fees apply to the following municipalities:

Dorado ($12 delivery fee)
Trujillo Alto ($15 delivery fee)
Caguas ($15 delivery fee)
Gurabo ($15 delivery fee)
Rio Grande ($20 delivery fee)

Delivery days to Trujillo Alto, Caguas, Gurabo, and Rio Grande will take place on Wednesdays and Fridays.

*No minimum is required for Pick Up orders

*If there is no one to receive the order at the time of the delivery there will be an extra charge incurred.

St. Thomas Delivery Hotel & Marinas

Alan’s Market offers delivery to Hotels and Marinas in St. Thomas. Pick Up option is available for all those who's address are not a Hotel or Marina. By choosing DELIVERY you will be charged a non-refundable delivery fee. Please note, delivery request to other addresses that are not Hotel or Marina will not be fulfilled.

Handling and
Storage Tips

To make sure you’re eating the freshest fish possible, it’s best to cook it the day you buy it from Alan’s Market. If stored properly in the refrigerator, fresh fish should be cooked within two days from the time it was purchased. As for cooked fish, you have a little more time. It’s always best to eat fish on the day it’s cooked, but according to the FDA, cooked fish remains good for three to four days, when stored properly in the refrigerator. It is up to the client to maintain freshness once received.

If you think the contents have been tampered with, please let us know within 24 hours so we can find a more suitable arrangement for the next delivery.

Communication

At Alan’s Market, we work hard to make sure your order is packed and delivered on time and in accordance with your specifications. However, if you are not at home to receive the order or we are unable to reach you, we will bring your order back to our store. We cannot guarantee a re-delivery. To help the delivery process, please provide us with as much information as you can to help us locate your home, business, or apartment. We will not be liable if unclear delivery information causes you to miss your order.
